The Challenge

In 2015, AGF Fire Protection Ltd was invited to tender for fire safety services at a new, high-profile attraction in London. The client required:

• A complete fire extinguisher design layout, to be submitted in AutoCAD format

• Installation and commissioning of all fire extinguishers and signage

• Ongoing annual maintenance and fire risk assessments post-installation

• A provider who could seamlessly integrate with the project’s wider construction and handover timeline
   

Our Solution

AGF Fire delivered a full-service fire safety solution from planning through to ongoing compliance:

• Collaborative Design Process
  We began by meeting with the client’s project managers and reviewing their site plans. Our design and installation team calculated the required extinguisher types, quantities, and precise locations based on layout and risk. This data was shared with our technical team, who updated the AutoCAD drawings and submitted them for approval along with a detailed quotation.

• Precise Installation & Commissioning
  Once approved, our team coordinated closely with the construction schedule to ensure a timely installation. Our technicians installed and commissioned all fire extinguishers and signage with great care, achieving a clean, professional finish in line with the high standards expected for a public-facing venue.

• Post-Installation Documentation
  After installation, we updated the client’s drawings to reflect the ‘as-installed’ layout, which was handed over to the site’s Health and Safety team to assist with ongoing inspections and compliance.

• Ongoing Partnership
  Since the attraction’s opening, AGF Fire has continued to provide annual extinguisher maintenance and fire risk assessments, ensuring long-term compliance and peace of mind for the client.
