We were invited to tender for an exciting new UK attraction in London in 2015. The client required a full fire extinguisher design layout plus installation and also ongoing maintenance and fire risk assessments for future years. The design was required to be submitted in AutoCad format for approval.
Initially we met with the client’s project managers who provided us with the site drawings from which our design and installation team calculated the projected number, type and locations of extinguishers required. This information was then fed back to our technical team who updated the client’s drawing files and submitted along with our quotation for approval.
Upon acceptance of our quotation we then liaised with the builders to meet the exact installation date required to fit in with their project as a whole. Our team of technician’s carried out the installation and commissioning of all the units, working carefully and precisely to provide the highest quality finish for both wall mounted units and signage.
Following the installation, drawings were again updated with the ‘as installed’ layout and provided to the client’s Health and Safety Managers to assist with their regular checks of the building.
Since the original installation in 2015, we have continued to work with this client carrying out the annual extinguisher maintenance and fire risk assessments.
