Overview

We were approached in 2008 by the Maintenance Manager of an International Retail store who were searching for one fire safety provider to look after all the fire safety services throughout their portfolio of stores throughout the UK and Ireland.  They were looking for uniformity in reporting across all their sites and a single point of contact as liaison for feedback.  They were also unhappy with the ‘extras’ they seemed to be being charged by their current provider.

 

Our Solution

Once the contract was awarded to AGF Fire we immediately took over all of their fire safety services, a dedicated team was assembled and schedules of work created for all of their stores detailing the timeline of services due throughout the year to ensure 100% on time service delivery.  Services included within their package; Fire Alarm Maintenance, Fire Extinguisher Maintenance, Fire Risk Assessment, Emergency Light Testing, Fire Door Audits and Sprinkler Testing.

Their dedicated account manager at AGF Fire completed training on their internal reporting system and all reports began being fed back to the client in their preferred format.

Feedback was provided swiftly for all issues requiring immediate attention and monthly face to face meetings were arranged to discuss in more detail our technician’s findings during the maintenance visits.

As the majority of their stores are based in UK shopping malls we also liaised with the mall management on their behalf, arranging access permits, working around the mall’s stipulated maintenance hours and providing all maintenance and repair works out of hours to prevent any interruption to trading.  This client was also very pleased with the efficiency of our call out procedure, attending all fire alarm call outs, nationwide, within a 4 hour window.

By using AGF Fire they also saw a reduction in additional costs as we worked efficiently on their contract always mindful of how to structure our fire safety maintenance work in the most effective way to help them, their business and their budget.

The length of time we have been working with this client is testament to the extremely high level of service we have been providing since 2008.
